Experienced writer, researcher and editor, previously living in London and now based in Copenhagen, Denmark
Over the past decade I have worked for international galleries, museums and publications as a writer and editor. Born and raised in London, I moved to Copenhagen in early 2022 and now work on a freelance basis.
I have degrees in art history from the University of Oxford and The Courtauld Institute of Art, with a particular focus in late nineteenth-century British art. I also have expertise in modern and contemporary periods of European and American art.
I was previously an editor for this is tomorrow and have written numerous articles published both in-house and by independent magazines, including Aesthetica, The Brooklyn Rail and Gagosian Quarterly. Notably, I have often written under the pen name Claire Phillips.
